...a virtuoso who has taken her place among the world's great trumpet players, performs two contrasting concertos. They are framed by three orchestral gens: Sibelius' symphonic poem, a suite from the most enchanting of Strauss' operas, and a symphony drawn from Adams' contemporary American opera.
