Fri. Feb. 14, 2020
Join your Madison Symphony Orchestra for a special Club 201 social gathering and a Romantic Encounter on Friday, February 14! Experience internationally-renowned violinist Pinchas Zukerman and cellist Amanda Forsyth as they reprise their fabulous performance of the Brahms Double Concerto, with which the duo made their Madison Symphony debut in 2001. One of Berlioz’s finest overtures, the exhilarating Le Corsaire opens the concert, and Aaron Copland’s majestic, powerful and lyrical third Symphony occupies the second half of this varied and incredible program of great music.
Immediately following the concert, you’re invited to the after-party with hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the second-floor Promenade Lobby. This is your chance to meet Madison Symphony Orchestra musicians, Music Director John DeMain, special guests, and music enthusiasts like you. Refreshments provided.
Your ticket includes a fantastic seat at the concert, plus the after-party, for just $45. Or, if you’re already attending the concert, you can buy reception tickets for $25.
