Save the Date: June 20, 2022
A Day of Golf. An Evening of Music, Food & Fun.
We are so excited to welcome you back for our annual Concert on the Green in 2022!
Concert on the Green is the MSOL’s most successful fundraiser, with proceeds benefiting the Education and Community Engagement Programs of the Madison Symphony Orchestra (MSO). These award-winning programs serve 25,000 people annually, ranging from elementary school children who discover the joy of music at the Symphony’s youth concerts, to seniors facing health challenges who experience the beauty and healing power of music played by a professional string quartet in their places of residence.
We are very excited to announce that Mike Leckrone, UW Band Director emeritus, will join our 2022 event as Honorary Golf Chair! Those who enjoy golf may start the day at Bishops Bay on the shores of beautiful Lake Mendota by participating in our annual golf tournament, which includes fabulous prizes. Professor Leckrone will be on the golf course throughout the day for photo opportunities. The evening includes a cocktail hour, a private concert by the Madison Symphony Orchestra under a large lakeside tent, and a gourmet picnic dinner. The annual concert highlight is a stunning solo performance by the winner of the MSO’s Bolz Young Artist Competition. As a special treat, Professor Leckrone will conduct one piece on the concert program.
Below, you’ll find a schedule of 2022 event highlights and photos from our 2019 event. General registration will open in early spring.
