Take Note: Drinks Allowed in Overture Hall
Please take note that drinks are allowed inside Overture Hall during all Madison Symphony Orchestra concerts. You may pre-order food and drink to be picked up in the lobby, or order at bars and concession stands located around the Overture Hall lobby before each concert and during intermission. Please enjoy food in the lobby and unwrap any candy or cough drops before the performance begins. Thank you!

Gavin is grateful to return to Madison Symphony Orchestra where he last served as the narrator for Beyond the Score® featuring the music of Gustav Mahler. A graduate of Howard University, Mr. Lawrence has been seen on film and television and has worked at over 30 theatres around the country. He is a member of the core acting company at American Players Theatre where he recently directed THE BROTHERS SIZE by Oscar winner, Tarell Alvin McCraney, and where his play, THE BARBER AND THE UNNAMED PRINCE was recently presented as part of APT’s Winter Words. Gavin is an AUDELCO award winner for Outstanding Lead Actor in Carlyle Brown’s PURE CONFIDENCE at 59e59 Theaters.
