Join us for “A Virtual Madison Symphony Christmas”
Premiering Wednesday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m.

This special new concert production will feature vocalists Kyle Ketelsen and Emily Secor, The Madison Symphony Chorus, Madison Youth Choirs, and Mt. Zion Gospel Ensemble, with performances and accompaniment by John DeMain and Greg Zelek on piano and the Overture Concert Organ, respectively.. The production will be pre-recorded in Overture Hall and multiple other locations, then streamed online to your home. This concert is offered for FREE upon registration and will be available for viewing through December 31, 2020.

Watch Virtual Overture Forum

On Monday, November 23, our Executive Director Rick Mackie will be participating in a virtual forum presented by Overture Center that also features representatives from fellow Overture resident companies. Moderated by Overture’s VP of Programming and Community Engagement Tim Sauers, topics include how the resident companies have been impacted by the pandemic, our plans for winter and spring, and how we are working together to support our community’s creative culture.

Willy Street Chamber Players: This chamber group, which features several MSO musicians, premiered a virtual concert on November 15 that is still available for viewing. Watch the performance on their Facebook page or YouTube channel.

American Players Theatre: Artistic Director Brenda DeVita is interviewing members of APT’s Core Acting Company from her porch in a series titled “Six Feet Apart”. Watch the videos, with new episodes added every two weeks.
