Our Principal Organist and Curator of the Overture Concert Organ, Greg Zelek, was recently featured in a segment for Wisconsin Public Television’s Wisconsin Life. The episode airs Thursday, September 20 at 7 p.m.

In the video, Greg explains how he started playing, and what makes Madison such a special place to call home. “This particular organ, it’s very unique to Madison,” he says. “The console is movable, so we can put it anywhere we want on the stage… the facade and the pipes are designed to look like the rolling hills of Wisconsin. People come in and they’re in awe… I feel extraordinarily fortunate to be in the situation I’m in, to be able to share this music with people. And to be a curator of an organ in a space like this is unbelievable.”
