Celebrating Your Support
Andersons Name Principal Bassoon Chair
The MSO is pleased to announce that Rozan and Brian Anderson have pledged a gift to endow and name the Principal Bassoon Chair. In recognition of the Andersons’ gift, the MSO’s Principal Bassoon Chair—currently held by long-time principal bassoonist Cynthia Cameron—has been permanently named The Rozan and Brian Anderson Chair.
Stradivarius Society Luncheon
In October, the Madison Symphony Orchestra hosted the annual Stradivarius Society luncheon at the Madison Club. Stradivarius Society members and guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, remarks from staff, and a fantastic performance by MSO violinist Maynie Bradley.
Fall Youth Concerts Recap
On Oct. 28, over 2,000 students from 37 Wisconsin schools went to Overture Hall for an unforgettable (and bone-chilling) concert. The MSO’s 2025 Fall Youth Concerts featured frightfully delightful music, musicians in costumes, and a solo by an outstandingly talented seventh-grade violinist. Thanks to donor support, the “Symphony Spooktacular” performances were “an absolutely top-notch experience for the kids!”
