Orchestra Auditions

The MSO is a fully orchestrated, part time professional ensemble comprised of 91 contracted, per-service musicians, offering approximately 80 services per season.  Section pay for the 2025-26 season is $146.17/rehearsal and $170.39/performance.  Current Auditions:

If a current member of the orchestra wins a a new position, these auditions may be used to fill the resulting opening.
Employment to begin September 2025 or earliest mutually agreed upon date.

Madison Symphony Chorus Auditions
