Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Madison Symphony Orchestra! We’re always looking for people to lend their time and talent to ensure the success of our outreach programs and special events.

Student Volunteer Opportunities

Current high school and college students (undergraduate and graduate welcome) are invited to become student ambassadors for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Serve as a campus and community representative of classical music in Madison! Learn more about the student ambassador program here!

Symphony at Sunset
Planning usually begins in the fall. Volunteer positions include sponsorship solicitation, marketing, event contracts, sweepstakes, décor, guest registration, day-of coordination, table set-up, and registration table.

Symphony Gala
Planning usually begins in March. Volunteer positions include sponsorship, marketing, music, registration, and décor.

Parties of Note
Planning usually begins in May for the following season. Volunteer positions include event brainstorming and planning, host recruitment, guest registration, and producing/mailing the Parties of Note Passports.

MSOL Member Events
Includes planning and event support for luncheons, December holiday party, and Bridge groups.
