Donor Lounge Sponsorships

Madison companies and businesses support the MSO in lots of different ways. Opportunities for corporate support include concert sponsorships, sponsorships of our Education and Community Engagement programs, program book advertising, sponsorships of special events, and more. Recently, we introduced sponsorships of our donor lounge as a new avenue for corporate support. The Madison Symphony Orchestra’s donor lounge is held in the Overture Center’s bright and beautiful Promenade Lounge. Open one hour before each concert and again at intermission, the donor lounge provides a gathering space for our individual donors of $1,000+, board members, concert sponsors, and special guests to socialize, anticipate the performance, and celebrate their support of the MSO. Prior to every performance, the conductor of the concert visits the donor lounge to give brief remarks in an intimate setting. Guests of the donor lounge enjoy a cash bar and complimentary coffee and sweets.
Thank you to MPI Protective Service for sponsoring the donor lounge during last month’s Christopher Taylor Plays Brahms concerts! Despite the cold weather, the donor lounge was warm and inviting. Attendees enjoyed hot beverages and remarks about the program from guest conductor Kazem Abdullah. MPI’s sponsorship made this festive hospitality possible for the weekend. They are superstar sponsors – this was the first of two donor lounge sponsorships for them this season! We are looking forward to another MPI-sponsored donor lounge during the Ax Plays Mozart concerts in March.
Companies can now sponsor the donor lounge for an entire concert weekend for $1,500. This amount covers the full cost of pre-concert and intermission hospitality. Donor lounge sponsors receive logo recognition on table tents around Promenade Lounge for the full weekend, verbal recognition at post-concert receptions, and up to 6 complimentary tickets to the concerts. This is a prime opportunity for businesses to raise awareness about their company among the MSO’s most high-profile audience members.
