With a generous donation from Myrna Larson, the Madison Symphony Orchestra has purchased a brand-new set of Adams timpani! Principal Timpanist John Jutsum introduced Myrna to the new drums shortly after they arrived, and then she saw and heard them on stage for the first time at our February concerts. Myrna said, “I’ve definitely gained more personal joy from this gift than from any other gift I’ve ever made!” Her generosity will be heard by many thousands of people in the years to come.
