The Rhapsodie Quartet, the resident quartet of our award-winning HeartStrings® program, performed a Valentine’s Day themed recital at the WYSO Center for Music. Despite some less than ideal weather, over 100 patrons attended this free performance! The quartet, consisting of Co-Concertmaster Suzanne Beia, Principal Violist Christopher Dozoryst, Principal Cellist Karl Lavine, and violinist Laura Burns, incredibly performed variety of repertoire. Their program included Carter Pann’s Love Letters, Antonín Dvořák’s Cypresses, B. 152, and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in A Minor, Op. 13.
