NEW! Start a monthly, sustaining gift to the MSO
Individual donors are now able to begin a monthly gift, a convenient and easy way to support the MSO’s year-round efforts to bring people together to experience great music. Starting at only $5/month, sustaining gifts can be made by card (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx) or direct debit from your bank account and are processed monthly on the date of your choice. Monthly, sustaining donors automatically receive benefits at the MSO Individual Giving level equivalent to their annual commitment (monthly gift times twelve!).

Capital City Theatre: Stephen Sondheim’s Assassins
August 1st-10th, 2025
A journey through the dark side of the American dream, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Tony-winning musical Assassins explores the lives of nine men and women who either killed (or tried to kill) one of the Presidents of the United States. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald and beyond, the stories of our country’s most successful and would-be assassins intersect in unexpected ways, creating a powerful, yet unnervingly funny look at some of the most shocking moments in US history.

Verona Area Concert Bands: Home and Away
August 7th, 2025
The Verona Area Community Bands (VACB) are performing their summer concert, Home and Away, in the VAHS Performing Arts Center on Thursday, August 7th at 7:30 PM. VACB concerts are free admission. Come to enjoy classic and modern band music, featuring two programs: one of music from all Wisconsin composers and one of music that evokes places elsewhere in the world, like the Middle East, Ukraine, Peru, and Colombia.

Hadestown, Teen Edition
August 8th-10th, 2025
Friends, community and family – Join us for the culmination of this 4-week Advanced Acting Academy Production –This performance will feature High School who auditioned and were accepted to be in this full musical in the Starlight Theater at MYArts. In this Advanced Academy program, students auditioned and were accepted into this production. They worked to strengthen their musical theater skills through daily rotating workshops, collaborated with a large ensemble of actors, gained a deeper understanding of what goes into putting on a production, and will perform for you on our largest stage: the Starlight Theater at MYArts. NOTE: This musical has mature themes. Tickets are Just $20!

Anastasia, Youth Edition
August 15th-16th, 2025
Friends, community and family – Join us for the culmination of this 3-week Starlight Series session –This performance will feature talented CTM kids from this session performing a full musical in the Starlight Theater at MYArts. In this Starlight Series program, students strengthen their musical theater skills through daily rotating workshops, collaborate with a large ensemble of actors, gain a deeper understanding of what goes into putting on a production, and perform on our largest stage: the Starlight Theater at MYArts.
