National Estate Planning Awareness Week

It’s National Estate Planning Awareness Week, a reminder of the importance of having a written plan that ensures your wishes for your estate are carried out. Having an estate plan protects your interests and your loved ones.

An estate plan can include a will or a trust, or both. It can detail beneficiary designations, and should include powers of attorney for your finances and your healthcare decisions, in the event you become incapacitated.

An estate plan is also a smart way to shape your legacy and support the causes you love, like the Madison Symphony Orchestra! Thoughtfully considered estate planning can put significant giving within reach for individuals who might not have thought it otherwise possible.

If you have already set up a planned gift for the Symphony, please let us know so we can thank you! We will happily recognize you in our legacy giving circle, the Stradivarius Society, or honor your request for anonymity.

Visit madisonsymphony.org/planned-giving to learn more. Contact: Casey Oelkers, Director of Development, (608) 257-3734.
