The Madison Symphony Orchestra celebrates three of its own artists — Concertmaster Naha Greenholtz, Clarinetist JJ Koh, and Tubist Joshua Biere — exhibiting a technical and evocative mastery of their respectful instruments via a series of solo pieces from Prokofiev, Debussy, and Vaughan Williams. Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 opens, and Gershwin’s An American in Paris open and close the concert.
