You can now watch both parts of a two-part film, John DeMain: A Life in Music, celebrating John’s 25th anniversary with the Madison Symphony Orchestra.
Part one of the film, The Early Years, celebrates the years in his career leading up to his arrival in Madison in 1994 and premiered at the Madison Symphony Orchestra League’s Silver Anniversary Gala on September 21.
The second part, 25 Years in Madison, focuses on the highlights of John’s accomplishments with the Madison Symphony Orchestra so far, including the construction of Overture Hall and Overture Concert Organ, expanding our Education and Community Outreach programs, and challenging the musicians of the orchestra , premiered at he MSO’s 2018-2019 season-opening concerts on September 28, 29 and 30.
