The Madison Symphony Orchestra League’s 2024 Symphony Gala will take place at the Madison Concourse Hotel. Our 99th Season Gala honors Terry Haller as the recipient of our John DeMain Award for Outstanding Commitment to Music. The net proceeds of the Gala will be placed in the John and Barbara DeMain Fund for Education and Community Engagement, which supports the MSO’s Education and Community Engagement Programs.

The John DeMain Award for Outstanding Commitment to Music recognizes an individual or individuals for their longstanding and unwavering support of the League, the Madison Symphony Orchestra and music in the community.
Terry Haller, a Lifetime Director of the Madison Symphony Orchestra, has supported and been involved with the symphony for over 40 years. He served as MSO president from 1994 to 1998, was on the search committee that brought Maestro DeMain to Madison and has been instrumental in helping the orchestra become one of the finest regional orchestras in the country. In addition to his deep commitment to the MSO, Terry is a passionate supporter of the arts in Madison and Wisconsin. He has used his business and fundraising expertise for the benefit of many cultural organizations.
