Yes No Link Up Concert InformationLink Up is a music education program created by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute that gives students in grades 3-5 the opportunity to explore music through a yearlong curriculum of classroom activities during which they learn to play the soprano recorder. A culminating concert brings the students into Overture’s Capitol Theater to perform with the MSO! Recommend 1 chaperone for every 10 students. For groups of less than 10 students, chaperones are $4 each. No tickets will be distributed for youth concerts. SUBSIDIES available upon request and calculated by the school’s Free and Reduced Lunch participation. ADJUSTMENTS: Reductions to the number of seats needed, up to 15%, can be made until six weeks prior to each concert. After this deadline no reductions will be accepted. Additions to the number of seats needed can be made up to two weeks prior to each concert, pending availability. REFUNDS will be made only if a performance is cancelled by the Madison Symphony Orchestra, or if the school district’s superintendent cancels school on the day of the concert due to inclement weather. Refunds will not be given for unused seats on the day of the concert. INVOICES will be sent approximately 6 weeks ahead of the concert. PAYMENT is due two weeks prior to the concert your group is registered for. See invoice for payment details and instructions. NOTE: When filling out this form, the contact person indicates that they understand a block of seats will be reserved for their group as soon as the form is received in the MSO office.
