What a lovely way to spend a spring evening overlooking Lake Mendota! Enjoy an elegant dinner and engaging conversation with Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Maestro John DeMain and his wife, Barbara, at the lakeside home of Mary Lang and Hans Sollinger. Topics may range from John’s time at the Houston Grand Opera and his worldwide stints as guest conductor for both opera and symphony. Or, maybe anecdotes from his Youngstown, Ohio boyhood, or schooling and early career in New York City. You could even ask him about his desert island music list. John will also entertain us with a few numbers on the piano. Limited to eight guests.
