Behind the Music: An MSOL Discovery Talk – April 8th

Join us for the another Behind the Music: An MSOL Discovery Talk 🎶 featuring Chris Allen, President of the Madison Classical Guitar Association, local classical guitar instructor, and performer on April 8, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

In this engaging talk, Chris will offer behind-the-scenes insights into the internationally renowned Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and their upcoming performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s celebrated Concierto Andaluz, ahead of the Madison Symphony Orchestra performances April 10–12.

🎸 Guests will enjoy live guitar performances of selections from Concierto Andaluz, making this an especially rare and memorable experience. With very few concertos written for guitar and orchestra, this Music Discovery Talk offers a unique opportunity to deepen your appreciation of this extraordinary work.
