Become a Student Ambassador

Current high school and college students are welcome to become student ambassadors for the Madison Symphony Orchestra. Serve as a campus and community representative of classical music in Madison! Learn more about the student ambassador program below and fill out the form to sign up.

Responsibilities would include utilizing social media to help promote our upcoming concerts and special events! For every concert you opt to be an ambassador for, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Comment on two recent posts on the Madison Symphony social media accounts (including Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook).
  • Share/tag Madison Symphony social media posts to your story and/or social media accounts (including Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook) two times. Examples include sharing our posts to your Instagram story and tagging our account or creating a Facebook post sharing your anticipation for an upcoming concert and tagging our page

You are also welcome to create your own posts to help promote the symphony! Ideas include doing a “Get Ready With Me” video leading up to a concert, posting concert photos and tagging us, we welcome your ideas on this! Be as creative and silly as your heart desires.

In exchange, the Madison Symphony is happy to offer our ambassadors:

  • Two free tickets (so you can bring a friend!) to any regular season orchestra performance. This excludes our MSO: At the Movies concerts
  • A discount code to register for our special events like Out at the Symphony and MSO: After Dark
  • A discount code to purchase MSO merchandise online
  • Opportunity to provide feedback to help further develop the program and suggest ideas for future social media/digital promotions and to further engage in arts marketing

Don’t have social media? Email our Digital Marketing and Engagement Specialist Chris Fiol (cfiol@madisonsymphony.org) and we’ll discuss other ways you can still get involved in the ambassador program!
