2022 Program

On Saturday, May 28, 2022, over 190 guests were welcomed to the Overture Center for the bi-annual 2022 Voices of Spring fundraiser. A cabaret-style atmosphere carried from the lobby to the Overture Hall stage. Between meal courses, attendees were serenaded by soprano Evelyn Saavedra and the magnificent Overture Concert Organ. From Gershwin’s I’ve Got Rhythm to Bach’s Fugue in D Major, Principal Organist Greg Zelek exquisitely demonstrated the varying sounds, textures, and power that could be produced from the Klais. In addition to being a memorable evening, the event raised over $34,000 for the Organ Endowment to ensure the organ will sing out in perpetuity. Thank you to all who attended and supported this wonderful event!
